Midwood Field is a DOE athletic track at 1605 Avenue K in the heart of Midwood, Brooklyn — renovated around 2018 and the site of PSAL Brooklyn Borough Championships as recently as 2022. The renovation produced a quality synthetic surface suited for competition. Public access is available outside school hours under the DOE extended use policy. The field fills a real gap: the nearest alternatives are Marine Park to the south and Prospect Park to the north, both over 2 miles away.
