Fully open to the public — free NYC Parks facility with no permit required. Part of Pelham Bay Park in the northeast Bronx. Built on the site of the old Rice Stadium, the track has 8 Mondo lanes and is one of the best-kept free tracks in the city.

Runner Summary

One of the most underrated tracks in the entire city. The 8-lane Mondo surface in alternating blue and tan lanes is competition-grade, the Pelham Bay Park setting is genuinely beautiful, and the track is almost always empty on weekday mornings. Reviewers are unanimous: the trip out to the northeast Bronx is worth it.
